What the prices do not tell you

  • Scope differs. Some prices cover billing only; others include eligibility checks, posting or AR follow-up.
  • Software may be bundled. A percentage that includes a practice management system is not the same service as one that does not.
  • Minimums and tiers change the effective rate. A flat monthly minimum costs more as a percentage when collections are low.
  • Add-ons are priced separately: clearinghouse fees, patient statements, verification and credentialing.
  • Contract terms vary and are often not published. Ask for them in writing before you sign.

Why do some companies show Not publicly listed?

We only show a number when the company publishes it, or when a named third party reports it, and we label which is which. If we cannot confirm a figure from a public source, we say so rather than estimate it.

How do I report an out-of-date figure?

Email asinichar@vixelagency.com or use the contact page with the company, the figure and the page it comes from. We recheck and update the date.
